February First Friday:
Chocolate Affair to Remember

Friday, February 5, 5–8 pm

Chocolate treats, fun themed activities, art shows, movies, prizes, and more will all be a part of the First Friday event in Downtown Camas on February 5th. Downtown businesses will be serving and selling chocolate delights and other romantic gifts with wine tastings and specials at select locations as well. The event runs from 5-8pm.

As an addition to this year’s event and in honor of the last season of the beloved series Downton Abbey, come dressed in “Downton” attire and be entered to win a Downton Abbey basket bella vine wine candlesGuess the candy jar amounts in each participating location and be entered to win the candy and other great Valentine’s themed prizes!

At Lizzabeth A, Put your name in to win a delectable basket of Moonstruck chocolate! Plus get 20% off one piece of jewelry from 1st Friday through Valentine’s day (as part of the Liberty Theater’s Romance Weekend).

October First Friday:
Pumpkin Pageant

Friday, October 2, 5–8 pm

Join us October 2nd, 5-8pm, for the 10th Annual “Pumpkin Pageant”, Super Hero Costume Contest, and all sorts of fall fun! Pumpkin Pageant: Participating downtown businesses each have a carved pumpkin and you get to vote for your favorite! Voting enters you to win a fall-themed basket from the merchants.

Friday, September 4, 5–9 pm

Plein Air is the French tradition where artists paint the landscape in the “open air.”  On First Friday, several artists will line 4th Avenue from Adams to Dallas to “paint the town”. You can stroll along 4th Avenue and watch the artists’ craft between 9am and 4pm that day. Wonderful!

The Camas Vintage & Art Faire features 60+ Vintage and Antique and local art vendors all in the charming tree lined streets of Downtown Camas. Vintage offerings include a huge variety of indoor and outdoor furniture and home and garden items as well as clothing and accessories. Art offerings include quality sculpture, paintings, woodwork, pottery, glass art, metal work, handmade jewelry, fiber art, recycled art, and more.

Small Town Summer Fun!

Friday, August 7, 5–8 pm

Celebrate Summer with Games, Music, Art, Shopping, Dining, and Activities in Downtown Camas! 5-8pm.

The theme is “Small Town Summer Fun” and will include water games, live local music (the band will knock your socks off!), Keys to the City piano unveiling, art shows, summer sales, summer word game fun in downtown businesses, treats, summer crafts, Sweetwater standup paddleboard (SUP) demos, and more. 4th Avenue between Adams and Birch will be closed for this downtown summer party! Stop by the DCA tables at 4th and Birch for all the info.

  • Fun water games to play and earn tickets: water balloon toss, toe fishing for marbles, squirt the cup race, more!
  • Amazing Live Local Music as well as the Keys to the City piano unveiling!
  • Do the “Summer Word Game” at participating locations and earn tickets to win fabulous prizes from the merchants

Dog Days of Summer

Friday, July 3, 5 pm–8 pm

A fun celebration of dogs on July’s First Friday!

  • Doggie “fashion shows” with prizes at 6 pm and 7 pm
  • Vendors selling fun things for dogs
  • Kids’ crafts with a dog theme
  • “Millie” the dog will be alldressed for photo ops!
  • Name the dog breeds in the stores to earn tickets to win great prizes
    from the merchants
  • Shop, dine, enjoy art, listen to live music, more!

Beautiful Topiaries: ready-made or custom made!

This beautiful topiary was custom made by a local artisan who also creates wreaths, garlands, and other floral displays. Stop in to see her ready-made items or give us a call if you’d like something customized just for you.
